Our mission

Every business deserves a second chapter.

Kenya has one of Africa's most vibrant SME economies — hundreds of thousands of dukas, salons, hardwares, agrovets and eateries built over decades. But most of them close when the founder retires or passes on. Not because they aren't profitable, but because there's no culture of business succession, and no easy way to find the right buyer.

Mwisho — Swahili for "the end" — is named for both endings and beginnings. The end of one owner's chapter. The start of the next.

The problem
Good businesses close quietly.

Aging founders often have no successor. Children move to other careers or cities. The business winds down instead of changing hands.

The gap
Buyers can't find them.

Capable Kenyan buyers — diaspora, first time acquirers, small investment groups — have money but no reliable way to find real, cash flowing SMEs for sale.

The bridge
Mwisho.

One place where verified businesses meet serious buyers. Clear numbers. Real proof. KES pricing. No jargon.

Our vision

A Kenya where handing over a small business is as normal as handing over a matatu route or a piece of land — a proper transaction, at a fair price, with real numbers on the table. Where a duka that took thirty years to build doesn't quietly close because nobody knew it was for sale.
